Dolly Harbour Launch Motorboat including Fittings Kit 1:20 Scale Krick Robbe RC Kit

We are very pleased to announce the return of the very popular Dolly Motor Launch RC model kit which has been out of production for some time since the demise of Robbe Modellsport in 2015 and is now being manufactured by Krick Modelltechnik under the Romarin brand label. The kits are famous for their degree of prefabrication, quality, detail, operating options and robust design and the Dolly is an ideal beginner's choice.

The Dolly is a 1:20 scale radio-controlled semi-scale model of a harbour launch.

This general-purpose boat type can be seen in many of the world‘s harbours. These small launches can be fitted out for a wide variety of tasks, and are commonly used to transport persons or materials; they can also be used as tugs for larger vessels if fitted with special towing gear, or even as fire-fighting launches.

The electric power system for the Dolly has been carefully selected to suit the vessel, and the single-screw system provides an excellent scale performance. The hull features an integral screw tunnel, giving very good manoeuverability. The recommended 6 V/1.3 Ah battery gives running times of up to an 3/4 hour.

The deck and superstructure has a very simple and easy construction based on a finished one piece hull, vacuum moulded parts and lazer cut internal fittings. A straightforward assembly even for a beginner to the hobby.

It is possible to fit numerous extra working features such as a fully operating fire fighting cannon, working towing gear, etc.

For true-scale appearance of the Dolly, a fittings kit is included as standard and contains parts such as bollards, lifebelt, flag with flag stick, vents, horn, searchlight and working navigation lights with brass fittings. Crew figures are not included.
