Hot on the heels of the Riot and capitalising on its resounding success, the Ruckus was designed to offer a slightly more agile and edgy performance envelope for pilots who are looking to hone their skills and develop their aerobatic repertoire. No surprise, then, that the Balsa Pro-Built Ruckus takes all the exemplary design cues and flying characteristics of the EPO model and offers them in the form of a beautifully built, highly durable, CNC-cut balsa, ply and film-wrapped airframe. Whilst solo pilots of all skill levels love the foamie Ruckus, traditionalists crave the added longevity offered by the ding-resistant, easy-clean (and visually bold) film-covered surface of this balsa-built aircraft.

In a package that leaves little to chance, the kit comes with a full hardware pack that includes all the fittings and accessories required, not least the engine / motor mounts necessary for both i.c. or electric power options.

Available in three pre-finished colour schemes (red, pseudo P-51 or pseudo Chipmunk) theres something here for everyone, not least the opportunity to maintain some individuality at the patch.

Power options are numerous and whilst the prototype used a .46cu. in. 2-stroke, a .52 would fit the bill just as well, offering outstanding vertical performance in the process. The electric version suits a Radient 4250 800KV outrunner perfectly which, hooked to a Radient 4S 2600mAh LiPo, offers an abundance of power and a very respectable duration.
