RPM Skid Plates for the Traxxas Mini Maxx and Mini XRT solve a major weak point in the stock design. The mounting screws are exposed to damage. When stock screws get damaged, it can become next to impossible to remove them. Additionally, they can strip out the bulkheads and create frustrating, time-consuming repairs. Our redesigned skid plates separate the skid ribs from the screw holes, protecting your screws and keeping your bulkheads safe.
The added skid ribs aren’t just for looks. They act as functional wear surfaces, giving the skid plates extra life. In fact, we added a third rib (stock only has two), increasing durability, abrasion resistance, and overall strength…Classic RPM toughness!
