Description
Mantua's range of period weapon kits all feature quality hardwood, complete with brass, metal and wood fittings. The wood is all laser cut for accurate assembly and the manual is clear and detailed with comprehensive illustrations. The kits are supplied with a wooden display base complete with a brass engraved nameplate. These static models make excellent display pieces and with some 18 models currently in the range there is surely something to interest everyone.
The Scorpion XVI century double crossbow is considered to be one of the forerunners of the modern cannon. It launched iron balls, stones and arrows for more than two hundred metres, with the same high precision as the 15 and 16th century powders did.
